How to write a good profile
Make it a good one! If you can, get a friend to take it. Take loads with a digital camera and pick the best two or three. Think about what your best features are and concentrate on those. Perhaps you could get your hair done or dress as if you’re going out on a date – this will help to set the mood. Take some time out to have a look at other people’s profiles, and decide which ones you like. What is it you like about them? “How I got the love of my life back”
About two years had passed and I hardly spoke of him. I had a new life with new friends who didn’t know about him. I always felt ashamed about how I let him hurt me twice before. I didn’t want anyone to either that if he ever came back I would take him in a heart beat, because he was mine.
So, one night I am in my room cleaning and I get a call from a number I didn’t recognize. Now, by this time I had contacted his parents, who I met before I left and fell absolutely in love with, to see how they had been and to, yes, hear about him. He had just joined the Army and so was not there. I was surprised, but very happy for him in a way. So, I pick up the call and it was him. It was like hearing a ghost over the phone. I fell to my knees and started to cry. I began to talk and it was as if we had never been apart. It took two days of talking and it came up, the question, what are we going to do? You see, I was in Nevada and he was in North Carolina. So, we decided to get married. A few weeks later he and his parents were in Las Vegas and we got married. A few weeks later we were pregnant.
Now we’re living in Georgia and have two beautiful boys.
I guess what I hope you share here is that when you love someone, I mean truly love someone with all your heart that you just can’t see your self living without them, than you should never give up. He wasn’t ready then, but still loved me and so I let him do what ever he needed to do or let him find himself, whatever it was he finally came back ready to stay. I always knew he would and I just held on to that feeling. Your heart will tell you all you need to know. I know we can’t always do what our heart says, but we can sometimes.
